OXBO, Bankside.

Part of the Hilton Hotel, Bankside, OXBO restaurant is a very pleasant find. We went along for their Bottomless Brunch (£49 per head) which consisted of four courses and free flowing Prosecco for two hours. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and we were served by polite, friendly, attentive staff who ensured drinks flowed and tables were cleared with slick professionalism. The starters were from a buffet which could be visited as many times as you liked. There was then a choice of egg dishes cooked to order ranging from a straight poached egg to eggs royale. Apres eggs the starter buffet could be revisited but we moved on to the main courses which were sharing dishes served at the table, one fish dish, one amazing curried vegetarian dish and melt in the mouth Moroccan beef. Desserts were once again collected from a buffet which were an incredible choice of sweet delights and a cheese board accompanied by cracker biscuits and bread. At this point you could also return for another visit to the starter buffet if you have a more savoury palate and any room left!!! What made this restaurant stand out above other buffet style restaurants I have visited was the quality of the food on offer. Everything was beautifully prepared and cooked and tasted fresh and first class. It was also presented in a clean, attractive manner. I would definitely return and would recommend to all.
