Prague Posted byJane Fielding March 31, 2019March 31, 2019 Leave a comment on Prague I could write about a bar or a restaurant that we visited or the hotel we stayed in but to be honest all I really need to say is GO TO PRAGUE!!! Compared to London, Prague is a pocket sized city that can easily be discovered in a long weekend or midweek break. History dating back to 900AD we ate one evening in a cellar restaurant that was 12th Century. The city is spotlessly clean, wonderfully old with architecture that varies from one building to the next. Reasonably priced (I think with £1 = @ 27 CK it wasn’t easy maths!) Incredibly easy to drink beer and yummy hearty food we were well fuelled to explore the city on foot although trams and an easy to navigate underground system were also an option. Would highly recommend this fab city. Must just mention one little bar/cafe though. Just on the north side of the river a few paces up from St Charles Bridge on the right is this hidden cafe. Great coffee and cake but more importantly their own craft beer on tap with varying degrees of potency…..that’s all I need to say 😉.
