The 🌠Star Inn, Norman’s Bay, East Sussex. Posted byJane Fielding February 18, 2019February 18, 2019 Leave a comment on The 🌠Star Inn, Norman’s Bay, East Sussex. Tucked away down Bay Avenue, Norman’s Bay, Pevensey…….proper Norman’s Conquest country, is the Star Inn. This old smugglers trading post is a ramble over the fields from the sea or 5 mins drive from Cooden Beach Station. This historic inn serves the most “value for money” three course meal I’ve ever had!Mention the deal when you book and for only £10 you can tuck into a main meal with a starter and a dessert thrown in for free! Portions are perfect. My surf and turf beautifully cooked and wonderfully tender. Packed on a Monday night is a reflection of how well supported by locals and visitors this place really is. With a large garden and play area out back this pub is family friendly too. So if you’re staying in 1066 country come and tuck into this bargain filled feast!
