Betrayal – Harold Pinter Posted byJane Fielding April 6, 2019April 6, 2019 Leave a comment on Betrayal – Harold Pinter Yes I’m back for more Harold Pinter. This time drawn in by Tom Hiddleston but all the cast were superb. Two chairs, three people, four bottles of beer and an occasionally revolving stage, this play proves that with the right script performed in the right way, you don’t need scenery to create mood, tension and laughter. The play travels back and forth through time which you may think would prove confusing. However it is done with perfect symmetry, purely by the differencies in the relationships between the characters across the years supported by a brilliant script and exceptional acting. The play runs for 90 minutes without a break which adds to the experience allowing the audience to remain captivated from start to finish. Loved it.
